ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Oxelösund. We offer a position of approximately 60–65 % where you work days, evenings, and every other weekend.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:30–16:00 weekdays
• 16:00–22:00 weekdays
• 08:00–16:00 weekends
• 16:00–22:00 weekends

Double staffing also occurs twice a week between 08:00–09:45. These short shifts are included in all permanent positions.

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman around 70 years old living with MS. She lives with her husband in a single-story house adapted to her needs. In her daily life, she uses an electric wheelchair that she drives herself. Assistive devices such as a shower chair and a ceiling lift are available in the home to support transfers. The client has a car that can be used for errands and activities.

The tasks include the following:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores
• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Cooking

The woman has a great interest in gardening and enjoys growing vegetables in her greenhouse. She likes flowers, planting, and taking care of them. She is social and appreciates accompanying her on errands, activities, and excursions. As an assistant, you are welcome to suggest ideas for things you can do together.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. The position involves some lifting, which requires good physical fitness. Personal suitability is highly valued. Our client requests only female assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Ability to cook for the client

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Nursing experience or equivalent
• Nursing education or equivalent
• Interest in gardening and/or cultivation

Employment level: approx. 60–65 %

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
