Kramfors Municipality is the natural hub of the High Coast, shaped over millennia. Here, people, places, and environments can grow according to their own conditions.

Together, we create welfare and a functioning society that is equal and fair for everyone who lives and visits the municipality. We proudly say that we have Sweden's most important job! This is a great starting point for making a working day with us feel meaningful.

Are you engaged, driven, and able to drive your work forward independently? Then you might be the person we are looking for in our newly established development area in Kramfors Municipality, launched in autumn 2025. The development area focuses on collaboration between the Welfare Administration's operations: healthcare, disability support, and individual and family care. People in the target group may need support in the form of structure in daily life, help creating and maintaining routines, emotional support, and assistance managing social contacts.

We see preventive and proactive health work as important, and with demographic changes, early interventions to prevent ill health are becoming increasingly vital. Within healthcare, it is also important to continuously develop existing working methods and incorporate advancements such as digital tools and other smart features. With the residents of Kramfors at the center, we aim to develop a working approach where we better utilize each individual's abilities and work to strengthen them for increased independence, participation, and quality of life.

Our occupational therapist in this development project will be on parental leave, so we are now looking for a star who will not only continue the development work already started but also drive the next steps forward.

1 position(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The phases started in autumn 2025 include activity assessments and rehabilitative/habilitative measures when applying for interventions within social psychiatry and the Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups (LSS). The upcoming development area includes activity and work assessments as support for the introduction of activity requirements, making this role crucial for driving development forward.

You will:

  • Assess the activity capacity of individuals applying for interventions as described above.
  • Conduct occupational therapy measures aimed at increasing individual independence.
  • Assess needs, trial out, and prescribe assistive devices.

Work with us is varied and diverse, as no two days are alike, and your workplace for the day depends on the patient's home. The role offers significant freedom to independently plan and organize your work. You will receive an individually tailored introduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. You have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health issues. You are a responsible problem-solver with a commitment to driving and developing working methods. You are structured, have good communication skills, and possess good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Previous experience in providing individuals with structure in daily life, help creating and maintaining routines, emotional support, and assistance managing social contacts is advantageous. Previous experience participating in development projects is also a plus.

To thrive in this role, you must be able to work independently while remaining flexible and adaptable as the working methods evolve.

A manual driving license (Category B) is required.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

To ensure quality in the recruitment process and enable good communication with our applicants, we ask you to submit your application digitally, not via email or paper format.

Please include the reference number and salary expectations in your application. References are provided upon request, and for certain positions within the municipality's operations, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required. Some positions in our municipality are classified for security reasons, so a security check may be conducted.

We have made our choice of recruitment partner and therefore decline contact with recruiters.

We warmly welcome your application for one of Sweden's most important jobs!
