Do you want to make a difference in elderly care?

We are looking for dedicated assistant nurses for our wonderful facility. Ågården in central Lindesberg is a special housing facility for the elderly consisting of seven wards, two of which are focused on dementia care. Approximately 60 assistant nurses/care assistants, along with 2 nurses and occupational therapists, work here.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse at Ågården, you will provide professional care and support to residents, relatives, and colleagues, building trust and rapport. Your duties will include standard assistant nurse tasks such as personal care, hygiene, administering medication, and performing other health and medical interventions as delegated.

Your responsibilities also include laundry, cleaning, and assistance with other daily activities. We work with case management, and you will be responsible for the implementation plans of several residents. You are reliable and stable, enjoy collaboration, and will play a key role in a team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, and the unit manager. Your daily work includes documentation and handling other digital tasks via computer and mobile phone.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. We care about your well-being and offer a wellness allowance or gym membership. As a permanent employee, you have the opportunity to take extra days off through holiday exchange.

Qualifications

  • You must have proof of the right to use the professional title "assistant nurse" (undersköterska) from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).
  • You must have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with colleagues, residents, and relatives, as well as to document care as required by the facility.
  • Good computer skills are preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare and social services is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be required prior to employment.

Employment Type: Permanent position.
