Our school has approximately 190 students and 24 employees. We offer high-quality after-school care at our after-school center. For older students, there is also an after-school club at the school. We value that everyone feels known and has a secure school experience. All work at Hedesunda School is based on the safety and well-being we create together through caring for one another and active safety efforts. We have a good work environment in a beautiful and stimulating setting, located on a esker and close to forest areas.

We are now looking for an engaged and creative teacher for our after-school center who wants to be a safe and inspiring role model in the students' learning and daily lives. Job Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a safe, fun, and developmental daily life for our students at Hedesunda School? Great, then this might be the job for you! We are now looking for an engaged teacher for our after-school center.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and teaching at the after-school center.
• Working together with your colleagues to create a school where everyone feels safe and seen, including students, guardians, and staff.
• Creating an inclusive and supportive school environment where every student feels seen and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Working in collaboration with other educators, student health services, and guardians.

Qualifications

In this role, you actively contribute to a culture where we collectively take responsibility for creating the best conditions for students' learning and development. You are happy to share your ideas, embrace others' perspectives, and view collegial learning as a natural part of the assignment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching license with eligibility to teach at the after-school center.
• Is familiar with and knowledgeable about the curriculum for compulsory school, as well as for preschool class and after-school center.
• Has the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required for dialogue with colleagues, guardians, and students.

The following are considered meritorious:

• Experience and knowledge of working with digital tools, such as Unikum.
• Studies as a preschool teacher.

• An ability to find new angles, see opportunities, and adapt to different situations.
• The ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• An inclusive approach that makes every student feel a sense of belonging and security.
• The ability to plan and organize your work well.
• Strong collaboration skills with colleagues, students, guardians, and other stakeholders.

As the final candidate, you must be able to present a police certificate of good conduct for work within schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
