As a Team Leader for Electrical Programming at Lämneå Bruk, you will become part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team responsible for the entire production chain – from idea to final delivery.

About the Role

Professionals Nord is recruiting on behalf of Lämneå Bruk for a Team Leader in Electrical Programming. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Lämneå Bruk for a period of six months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by Lämneå Bruk, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities and Duties

As the Team Leader for the Electrical Programming department, you will lead and plan the daily work for the team of electrical programmers, while also remaining operational in projects and programming. You act as the link between production management and daily operations, ensuring that work is carried out according to plan, with the right quality and safety standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, leading, and monitoring daily work based on production schedules
• Supporting the team in programming, testing, and commissioning
• Ensuring that routines, working methods, and safety regulations are followed, and handling deviations
• Managing ongoing communication, including weekly meetings and collaboration with other departments
• Mentoring new employees and interns
• Identifying areas for improvement, proposing actions, and reporting to the Production Manager

Flexible working hours apply during daytime, and business travel may occur, both within Sweden and internationally.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has practical education in automation or equivalent work experience
• Has experience with PLC, HMI, and drive technology (Siemens TIA Portal, Starter)
• Has experience in a leadership role, such as team leader or group leader
• Is proficient in computer usage
• Has experience working in an industrial environment
• Can communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Has a valid driver’s license (Category B) and access to a car

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience with other control systems, such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Beijer, or Lenze
• Experience working directly with end customers
• Experience with business travel
