About the Department

MAVA Cardiac Department in Örnsköldsvik belongs to Närsjukvård Norra. The department focuses on cardiology and medical emergency care. We highly value developing our operations; patient safety, competence development, and working environment are important to us.

We are now looking for two licensed nurses to join our team! Whether you are an experienced nurse or new to your professional role, you can contribute to our team. When you start with us, you will receive a good and thorough induction. We have a well-developed mentorship program on the department for nurses, where you are offered personal support and learning from an experienced nurse. On the department, there is a supervising nurse whose main task is to support and guide staff daily in all situations that arise, big or small.

We offer newly employed nurses the opportunity to participate in the development year for new nurses, where you will be trained throughout the year and meet other new colleagues. There is also the possibility for competence development in both cardiology and the department's other special areas, for example, interpretation of telemetry, training, etc. If you have a CSN loan, you may also have the opportunity to pay off the loan with 2000 SEK over 24 months. With us, we have Individual Preference Schedules with great flexibility and the possibility of reduced working hours. We have individual salary setting as well as a competence ladder with financial compensation.

The positions are permanent full-time appointments with temporary placement at the MAVA Cardiac Department. Start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work in a team together with assistant nurses and doctors. You are responsible for:

• Patient care
• Monitoring vital parameters
• Medication management
• Implementation of decided treatment

The tasks vary depending on the patients' needs. On the department, patients are treated with ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, as well as internal medicine patients with, for example, COPD, diabetes, or acute infections.

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
