Are you a rockstar at solving problems quickly, enjoy working with a service mindset, and are comfortable with digital tools? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Who are we?

The Urban Development Office creates value for everyone who lives and works in Norrköping. Here, the entire urban development process is gathered, and every skill is important for us to reach our goals. Here you have the opportunity to develop while contributing to Norrköping's sustainable growth. Together, we solve tricky challenges by being innovative and bold. Do you want to be part of it?

In the Support and Service Unit, we work broadly and closely with the rest of the office to keep Norrköping running – both today and tomorrow.

We support everything from contract follow-up and mapping materials to handling incoming cases. Additionally, we are a vital link between the municipality and businesses, and are responsible for issues concerning the use of public land and excavation permits.

We are now looking for a new colleague on a fixed-term contract!

Your responsibilities

As part of the IT support team, you will be the hub in handling fault reports, feedback, and requests coming from the municipality's residents. You work in our case management system, where cases come in via web, email, and Kontakt Norrköping.

You help clarify property boundaries, maintenance responsibilities, and other practical issues – often on your own, but always with support from a team that helps each other out.

You collaborate broadly within the office, find the right information in our systems, and ensure everything is updated and correct – for yourself, your colleagues, and Kontakt Norrköping.

You also play an important role in developing our service by updating information, supporting Kontakt Norrköping in complex cases, and contributing to training when needed. This is a role where you get to take a holistic approach to both internal handling and communication, follow-up, and statistics.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a university degree in urban planning or similar. You have experience in investigative work involving information searching.

You have experience in customer service work and find it easy to learn new systems, and have good knowledge of the Office package. Experience in the operation and maintenance of public land is an advantage.

We are looking for you who genuinely enjoy providing service and like having contact with both colleagues, residents, and businesses. You are quick, flexible in your approach, and always helpful.

You like to keep things organized, find it easy to switch between different tasks during the day, and thrive working with goals and results.

You communicate clearly, pleasantly, and professionally – both verbally and in writing – and have good knowledge of Swedish.

We also believe that you are a secure and stable person who contributes to a good work climate with your positive energy.
