Your Role

Take the opportunity to become a vital part of our organization. We are looking for you who, as a primary school teacher, want to continue developing the work at our rural school together with dedicated colleagues.

At this small school, we believe that good teamwork skills and flexibility are key success factors.

We are looking for you with a teaching license who is qualified to teach grades 1–6.

Your responsibilities include mentorship, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical work together with colleagues in the work team. You belong to a student-centered work team. You collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment and actively participate in the school's development work.

Stråtjära School is a cozy rural school for grades Pre-K–6, surrounded by forests and fields. The forest is part of the schoolyard and provides excellent conditions for both play and learning. A lake and waterways are also within walking distance.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you with a primary school teaching license qualified to teach grades 1–6.

Previous experience in school and teaching is considered an asset.

You are a person who adapts easily to changing circumstances and can quickly change your perspective and approach. You take responsibility for your tasks, work towards goals by structuring and driving your processes forward yourself. You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and of people's different prerequisites.

We are looking for a confident and clear leader who motivates and can empower others with the authority needed to efficiently reach common goals. You create engagement and participation, while being outgoing and socially active.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
