We are currently looking for an experienced and skilled estimator in civil engineering for a permanent position with one of our most popular clients in Stockholm within the industry.

About the Company

We are in a continued phase of expansion and are now looking for an estimator for our headquarters in Stockholm. We are among the leading actors in civil engineering, maintenance, and detailed planning of outdoor environments in Stockholm.

Since our founding in 1973, we have been driven by the need to provide qualified civil works. We have approximately 50 employees and our headquarters are located in Solna.

About the Role

As an estimator, you support the project group and production with tasks such as calculation, bidding, and planning.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative work.
• Prepare bid calculations and prepare bid documents.
• Prepare side bids and alternative calculations.
• Prepare and execute contract documents.
• Prepare materials and propose schedules.
• Make quotation requests.
• Evaluate quotations.
• Responsible for system management.

Qualifications

• At least post-secondary construction technical educational background (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of contract law.
• Experience with bidding.
• Experience with scheduling.
• Experience with contract management.
• Experience with purchasing.
• Several years of experience working as an estimator in civil engineering.
• Previous experience from the construction industry is desirable.
• Desirable good knowledge of Bluebeam, Map, and Excel.
• Knowledge of construction calculation programs.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

We would also like you to have experience with larger business systems and scheduling programs.
