Coordinator for Information Security and Data Protection Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Coordinator for Information Security, you have an independent and development-oriented role. You coordinate the work related to information security. As the coordinator, you work strategically and are responsible for development work regarding information security by creating new or revising existing routines, guidelines, and other governing documents. You are also responsible for ensuring that the work is conducted systematically through follow-up and evaluation. You will also coordinate and follow up on operational work in the municipality's operations and serve as support and guidance to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.

The role of Data Protection Officer involves supporting internal compliance with applicable legislation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a degree in information security, data protection, law, archival science, or another university-level education that the employer deems equivalent. You must also have good knowledge of current legislation in the areas of information security and data protection. The position also requires good knowledge of administrative law and public access and secrecy legislation.

It is meritorious if you have experience of collaboration and leading projects, or if you have previously held a coordinating role. If you also have operational experience in leading an organization in the development of information security and data protection issues, that is positive. Experience with information security classification and risk and vulnerability analyses is also meritorious.

To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy working independently and planning, organizing, and driving your processes forward in a systematic manner. You possess the ability to think strategically and constantly strive to maintain a holistic perspective. You are attentive, pedagogical, and accommodating in your interactions. It is important that you enjoy having many different contact areas and that you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others. You need to thrive in a consultative role while also having the ability to take the lead where necessary, preferably by creating engagement and participation.
