Do you want to take the next step in your career and work in a technical and varied role close to complex marine projects? We are now looking for a Mechanical Planner for a company that works with maintenance, modification, and development of marine vessel systems. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a central role with significant responsibility and close collaboration with both project management and the workshop.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Planner, you work closely with project managers, foremen, and technical teams in the planning and execution of projects related to marine vessels and technical systems. You are responsible for preparing and structuring the work so that workshops and technicians have the right documentation, materials, and prerequisites to carry out the work efficiently and according to schedule. The role involves a strong focus on planning, coordination, and technical understanding.
The work is primarily office-based but in close proximity to the operations and vessels, providing the opportunity to follow projects on-site and ensure quality and progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the planning and coordination of technical projects
- Prepare work documentation, records, and materials prior to execution
- Ensure the right prerequisites are in place for maintenance, conversions, and technical installations
- Collaborate closely with project managers, the workshop, and other technical functions
- Follow up and inspect work on-site as needed
- Contribute to the efficient execution of projects in terms of time, quality, and cost
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have previous experience in technical or mechanical work, for example from workshops, industry, or marine operations
- Have good technical understanding and interest in mechanics
- Are structured and thrive with planning and coordination
- Are proficient with computers and have experience with MS Office
- Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
Experience with design tools or work within marine, industrial, or technical operations is considered an asset.
This position requires a security clearance in accordance with the Swedish Security Protection Act. The role requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
This is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed by Friday.
