About the Role

The Medicine Clinic in Örnsköldsvik belongs to the Primary Healthcare Area North. At the Medicine Clinic, we care for patients within the medical fields of Neurology, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Medical Podiatry, and patients referred to the Diagnostic Centre. Our workplace is characterized by teamwork between healthcare assistants, nurses, doctors, and podiatrists. It is important that we support each other to drive the operations forward in the best possible way. Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

We are now looking for a healthcare assistant to join our team! This is a full-time temporary position, available immediately until 2026-09-30.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy (blood sampling) is the main task.
• Assisting with LP (lumbar puncture) and bone marrow examinations.
• Unpacking goods.
• Cleaning.
• Equipment checks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has a completed healthcare assistant education.
• Has at least one year of experience with phlebotomy.
• Has good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you

• Have work experience from LP and bone marrow examinations.
• Have additional language skills.
