Do you want to contribute to making art more accessible in rural areas while simultaneously working to develop and implement cultural activities? We are looking for someone who wants to combine the role of project manager within the arts with work in our cultural operations.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference – for residents, artists, and the local community in Tranås, as well as in the collaborating municipalities of Eksjö, Nässjö, and Aneby.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Project Manager for Rural Art Infrastructure in Tranås and the collaborating municipalities, you play a central role in planning, coordinating, and driving the project forward. The assignment has a clear focus on art and artistic activities in a rural context.

During the period of September–December, the focus will be on mapping and current situation analysis. The assignment includes producing a mapping report that describes the conditions, needs, target groups, and potential areas for development for art in rural areas.

You will collaborate with internal and external actors, such as artists, associations, local initiatives, and public operations. A key part of the work is building relationships and creating engagement around the project.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating the project's processes and activities
• Being responsible for planning, follow-up, and documentation
• Conducting mapping and current situation analysis
• Producing a report as a basis for further development
• Initiating and developing collaborations
• Communicating the project's purpose and results to various target groups

The project is funded by Region Jönköping with the possibility of extension for an additional two years.

The position also involves other tasks together with employees at the Culture and Leisure Administration in Tranås Municipality, such as planning, implementing, and coordinating cultural activities. This work involves both practical implementation and development with a focus on collaboration and innovation.

The work is primarily scheduled during daytime hours, but evening and weekend work may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in culture, art, project management, communication, or other education that the employer finds equivalent.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in project management
• Worked in the cultural sector or with artistic activities
• Experience of collaboration with various actors

You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement.

Project employment for 4 months, starting in September or October, with the possibility of extension.

Employment level approx. 70 %.
