Do you want to be part of driving the development of future production? We are now looking for a driven Production Developer with a focus on preparation and project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production Developer, you play a central role in developing and optimizing our production processes. You work both operationally and strategically with a focus on preparation and project management.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and update production preparation, including pre- and post-calculations
• Plan, drive, and follow up on internal production projects as well as customer projects
• Initiate and lead investment projects, such as automation
• Work on continuous improvements in quality, productivity, and efficiency (e.g., SMED)
• Analyze and follow up on implemented improvement measures
• Develop and implement standardized and digitized working methods in production
• Ensure that production requirements are considered during design reviews
• Create and update work, setup, and control instructions
• Participate in deviation management and quality assurance, contributing to a safe and structured work environment
• Contribute to order and cleanliness (5S)
• Act as a technical resource and support for production and design
• Participate in the development of fixtures, tools, equipment, and packaging solutions

You work closely with production, design, and project organization, and are a key person in driving projects from idea to implementation.

Your focus is on driving and developing improvement work throughout the entire production flow, with the goal of strengthening the company's competitiveness. This means you work on optimizing quality, productivity, and efficiency, while ensuring that decided changes are implemented and followed up. You lead and coordinate both internal production projects and customer projects in close collaboration with sales project managers and the production team.

You work based on the company's established processes and routines, with the mandate to make decisions within your area. If necessary, you will coordinate with the Production Manager. The role also includes responsibility for handling deviations related to materials and deliveries, as well as ensuring correct reporting according to current requirements.

We are looking for you who have a relevant technical background and experience in production and project management. Preferably, you have a technical education at the upper secondary level or higher and experience from the manufacturing industry with a focus on sheet metal processing.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have good knowledge of production preparation and experience in project management, preferably from industrial production. You have a broad understanding of production technology and can read and interpret technical drawings. Furthermore, you have knowledge of quality technology and improvement work, as well as basic knowledge of production planning.

We also see that you have experience with business systems; knowledge of Monitor is an advantage. You are accustomed to working with computer-based tools in an administrative environment. Additionally, you have good knowledge of quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management systems.
