ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for personal assistants who want to work for our client in Nyköping. We are looking for both those interested in hourly temporary positions and/or those interested in summer temporary positions of approximately 16 hours per week.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and night, both on weekdays and weekends. Parts of the night involve waiting time. Start date is by agreement, but we would prefer that you can start training immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a happy and active young man in his late teens who lives in Nyköping with his family. He has a developmental disability and autism, and while he does not speak, he expresses himself through sounds and communication aids. He is always full of energy and cannot be left alone; he requires constant supervision.

The duties involve helping him with all daily routines, such as daily hygiene and communication with others. No lifting is required for this position. Furthermore, he enjoys being outdoors and playing, swimming, going on excursions, taking walks, listening to music, and having people sing for him.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for you who want to make our client's daily life meaningful by being creative and proactive. Our client takes few initiatives himself, so you as an assistant need to be able to guide and motivate him. Furthermore, you should be attentive, responsible, and active. We would appreciate it if you share the client's interest in music and enjoy finding various activities to do together with him, such as going to the swimming pool or playing outdoors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license
• Experience within care and social services
• Experience with autism
• Swimming proficiency and tolerance for chlorinated water
• Experience with challenging behavior

• Education within care and social services

Employment level: Hourly temporary and/or summer temporary position, 16 hours/week

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so orders should be placed well in advance.
