The Health and Care Department is divided into specialized housing, ordinary housing, and rehabilitation. Together, the department is responsible for healthcare and rehabilitation for the municipality's residents. Here, nurses, district nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and assistant nurses work together with the care recipient at the center. Our main tasks within municipal healthcare are to provide care and treatment to people who need support. We continuously develop our operations and see this as part of the transition to close-to-home care.

TASKS

Usual tasks for a nurse with patient responsibility in specialized housing within elderly care. This can range from simpler medical interventions to more advanced ones. Variation in work where no day is like the other. You plan your work both independently and together with your team, which besides the patients themselves and other licensed professionals, consists of care staff and the unit manager in specialized housing.

The operation is divided into 2 teams with 1 care leader in each team. Additionally, there is an assistant nurse team under construction, and everyone operates jointly from our premises at Helheten, Strängnäs. You have a fixed care responsibility at one of our 5 housing facilities in the municipality, but we work cross-team to support each other within and between teams.

Every morning, each team meets with their care leader to go through the day's work, staffing, and current information distribution to distribute resources in the best way. This is to create stability and increased security in the workplace and in the teams.

We have on-call operations in the evenings and weekends where 2 nurses work and operate from the common premises at Helheten. Scheduled weekend every 4th week, approx. 3-4 weekday evenings (on-call time) in 8 weeks. This may change depending on staffing.

Documentation takes place in Treserva Health Case, and we use digital signing of health and care records to simplify the daily life of licensed professionals and increase compliance with performed interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have/are:

• Licensed nurse.
• Good experience using computers/IT as support in work.
• Good ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, in Swedish.
• Category B driver's license and good driving experience.
