Are you our new colleague? We are looking for two assistant nurses for Skogsgläntan

Skogsgläntan Care and Support Residence is located in Stora Sundby, three miles west of Eskilstuna. Here you will find 22 apartments distributed across two units in a beautiful and nature-rich environment. Person-centered care is the focus at the residence, and eleven of the places are oriented towards people with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse with us, you work with standard care tasks based on each resident's individual needs and conditions. You provide support and service in their daily lives to create a meaningful, secure, and active everyday life. The role includes delegated healthcare tasks, documentation, and the creation of implementation plans. As a contact person, you are responsible for following up and coordinating efforts for a number of residents, with a focus on participation and individualized care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and have a B driver's license as well as access to your own car. You have experience working in care and support and feel confident in your professional role.

We would appreciate it if you had experience with documentation in documentation systems. It is also an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care.
• Experience working with people who have dementia and/or multiple illnesses.
• Knowledge of quality registers, such as BPSD or Senior Alert.

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-focused. You have a positive attitude and a good ability to see the big picture in your work. You enjoy collaborating with others and have an easy time building good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. Good treatment and a high sense of service are a natural part of your way of working.

Recruitment Process and Documentation

To be considered for the position, you must provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). You order this on their website. If you are already employed on a permanent basis in Eskilstuna Municipality, we need to receive a certificate of employment showing the title, type of employment, and duration of employment, which confirms that you are covered by the transitional rules for permanent employees as of July 1, 2023.

As part of the recruitment process, a language test is conducted. Before employment, you also need to show an extract from the police criminal record.
