About Us

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic (BUP) in Nyköping is currently seeking a nurse for a temporary position lasting the rest of the year, with a possibility of extension.

Our goal is to always provide high-quality psychiatric specialist care to children and adolescents in Sörmland. We aim to offer a wide range of treatment methods and let current research guide our work. We actively engage in various improvement projects and are open to trying new working methods.

We have a great work environment, often laugh, and maintain a fine collegial atmosphere. All employees should feel they have access to the support the case requires. If guidance is needed, one can turn to colleagues or the manager. We value teamwork, and no employee should feel left out. As a new employee, we are keen to ensure your introduction makes you feel confident working independently. You will gradually be phased into independent work, at your own pace, with colleagues close by.

Your Responsibilities

• Initiating and monitoring medication in collaboration with the clinic's doctors.
• Providing information and care-focused conversations with patients and their parents. Counseling and follow-up are partly conducted via telephone.
• Collaborating with doctors, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists in patient cases.
• The work also includes cooperation with various actors, primarily habilitation services, schools, and social services.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Good cooperation skills, an independent working style, and the ability to take initiative and make decisions in patient cases are important.

Employment Type

Temporary position until 2026-12-31 with a possible extension. Start date by agreement.
