About the Client

Motala Hissar was founded in 1972 with the manufacturing of department store lifts. Since the 1980s, the company has primarily focused on platform lifts, which are largely used to make buildings accessible. Over 10,000 lifts have been delivered to customers worldwide. Approximately 70% of the production is exported and sold through partners; in Sweden, they handle direct sales of their products. They manufacture most of the components for their products in their factory in Motala, while some components are sourced from suppliers, particularly regarding control systems and circuit boards.

About the Role

As a Production Supervisor in sheet metal, you are responsible for the daily operations of the production. You lead and distribute work within the team, ensure quality and efficiency, and actively work to foster good collaboration and a positive team spirit. The role involves close cooperation with both employees and other functions within the business. You report to our Production Manager.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in supervision, primarily within production.
• Has a good understanding of sheet metal processing and manufacturing processes and feels comfortable in a production-oriented role.
• Works in a structured manner and has the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on production work to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Is driven, takes significant personal responsibility, and is a team player who contributes to a good team spirit. You are a natural leader who can engage and inspire people, and you are communicative, clear, and receptive in your leadership.
