We are currently looking for an engaged truck mechanic to join our client's team.

As a truck technician with us, you will have a varied daily routine where no two days are alike. You will work with the service, maintenance, and repair of heavy vehicles. The role involves mixing traditional mechanic work with advanced troubleshooting.

Your main tasks will consist of performing service, maintenance, and repairs on trucks. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using modern software and adapted repair methods, while working with the latest technology in the industry, simultaneously handling classic mechanical work.

We are looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving problems. You have a genuine interest in vehicles and technology, as well as a desire to continue developing in your professional role. We require at least a high school education as a car mechanic, truck mechanic, or equivalent, and previous experience working with cars or trucks. A Category C driver's license is an absolute requirement for the position.

You will be employed by Randstad but work as a consultant at our client, Volvo.

Qualifications

• Category C driver's license is required
• Experience repairing various types of trucks
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Interest in technology and vehicles
