Role Summary: Your main role as an Engine Shop Technician involves working with the repair and overhaul of Pratt & Whitney 100 Series engines. This includes balancing rotating discs, maintenance, and overhaul of mechanical fuel control units, etc.

Secondarily, you will support other component shops within Amapola Part 145. You must have recent experience and knowledge of engine maintenance and operating balancing equipment for engine rotating discs from an approved EASA Part 145 MRO, and be able to demonstrate documented experience and recent authorization documentation.

We are looking for staff with technical training and recent work experience maintained for at least three years, with experience in flight systems.

Duties:

  • Certifying work performed on any component within your authorization scope in the workshop.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed IAW (In Accordance With) company procedures and relevant maintenance documentation, that technical logs and work orders are completed, ensuring all paperwork is appropriately stamped and returned to technical records.
  • Staying updated and well-informed about valid instructions, regulations, and maintenance information.
  • Keeping current with the Work Schedule, Company procedures, requirements, and any authorization ratings held for the work performed.
  • Having the confidence to issue an Occurrence (SMS) report if a deviation from the established company Flight Safety Standard is discovered.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Technical training.
  • Broad technical knowledge and interest is a requirement, along with experience in component maintenance.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Merited: Experience of working with Turbojet Engines.
