About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Uppsala. You will be involved in the entire automation process – from requirements specification and design to commissioning and testing. The role involves technical leadership and mentoring within Instrumentation & Control (I&C), as well as the opportunity to influence our working methods and future strategy.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation projects from start to commissioning.
• Mentor and support colleagues within I&C.
• Implement efficient working methods and contribute to decisions regarding automation.
• Work both at the office, remotely, and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Relevant university degree (Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering), or other post-secondary education.
• Experience from the chemical industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, or food & beverage.
• Knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and/or ABB Control Builder.
• Programming skills in Siemens PCS7 and/or ABB 800xA.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English.

Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of SCADA (Zenon), OPC servers, ISA88, Batch systems, and commissioning within the process industry.
