We are currently looking for an enthusiastic physicist for an exciting and meaningful role where you combine practical laboratory work with precise documentation. The position is located outside of Malmö, but we offer full support for commuters if you live elsewhere.

Job Description

The role involves a significant amount of laboratory work, metrology, analysis, evaluation, material clearance, and documentation. It is a position that perfectly balances desk work with practical laboratory tasks. If you are passionate about radiation, physics, and want to work on something that makes a real difference, this is the right fit for you.

Requirements

Education: You have a degree in hospital physics, an engineering degree with a focus on physics/technical physics, or another degree considered equivalent. Several years of higher education are required.

Experience: It is an advantage if you have experience in laboratory work and enjoy metrology, analysis, and data evaluation. Knowledge of radiation, nuclear power, or detectors at an educational level, as well as practical experience from the process industry, is valued.

You thrive in a larger context but also have the ability to drive your own projects forward and take initiative. You have a strong sense of responsibility and look forward to learning new things.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• The work requires on-site presence, but flexibility for commuting is available.
• The position is security classified.
• Applications should preferably be submitted in Swedish.

Employment and Start Date

The position will be filled as agreed, primarily on a rolling basis.
