About the role
Do you want to work in a technical industrial environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are paramount? We are currently looking for two Measuring Technicians for a consultancy assignment at Epiroc in Örebro. The position is full-time, with shifts scheduled for permanent night and permanent weekend rotations.

As a Measuring Technician at Epiroc, you play a central role in production with a focus on quality assurance and metrology. You collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure that both in-house manufactured parts, subcontracted components, and purchased parts meet specified requirements according to drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and inspect parts using manual and established measurement methods.
  • Perform quality control of incoming goods.
  • Conduct and compile product revisions.
  • Pre-set, calibrate, and perform maintenance on measuring equipment and torque wrenches.
  • Manage external calibration when necessary.
  • Create and prepare #D measurement software programs.
  • Participate in 5S work and document control.

Requirements:

  • A workshop technology education of at least 3 years with a focus on CNC-controlled machines, or several years of experience in similar roles.
  • Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, including form and position tolerances.
  • Good knowledge of method work.
  • Proficient computer skills, preferably in business systems like M3 and MS Office (meritorious).
  • Experience with 3D measurement and programming of measurement programs.
  • Experience with calibration and handling of measuring equipment.
  • Prior work experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with quality audits and deviation handling.
