At Hagaströms School, we have approximately 320 students from preschool class to grade 6. There are two classes in each grade. Our school is located close to nature and has its own forest on the schoolyard. Within walking distance, there is also a sports field called Haga IP. Our goal is for all students and adults to feel safe and comfortable at the school.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic teacher for the after-school center at Hagaströms School who wants to be part of our team. This is a permanent position starting on August 3, 2026. Responsibilities

Do you want to help create a safe, fun, and developmental daily routine for our students at Hagaströms School? Great, then this might be the job for you! We are now looking for an enthusiastic teacher for the after-school center. Hagaströms School places great importance on offering good recess activities. This will be part of the job responsibilities in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in the after-school center according to decided goals and guidelines.
• Working together with your colleagues to create a school where everyone feels safe and seen, whether as students, guardians, or staff.
• Carrying out work in collaboration with other educators, student health services, and guardians.

Qualifications

In this role, you actively contribute to a culture where we together take responsibility for creating the best conditions for students' learning and development. You are happy to share your ideas, embrace others' perspectives, and see collegial learning as a natural part of the assignment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teacher's license with eligibility to teach in the after-school center.
• Is familiar with and has knowledge of the curriculum for primary school as well as for preschool class and the after-school center.
• Has the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required for dialogue with colleagues, guardians, and students.
• Has experience and knowledge of working with digital tools.

• Good at making students feel safe, included, and part of the community.

• Approachable and egalitarian in your collaboration with others.

The final candidate must be able to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority regarding their criminal record for work within schools or preschools. This certificate should not be attached to your application.
