We are a secure work group consisting of nurses with high trust in each other, and who see our differences as a strength in our joint counseling work.

Our vision is to, in collaboration with other operations in the region, be the path to safe and secure care where the patient is located. We achieve this vision by offering citizens more contact channels for counseling and medical assessment by a nurse.

Through competence-enhancing measures at both individual and group levels, we ensure quality and patient safety in all our healthcare contacts.

We use several work tools such as telephone, chat, and video. We also collaborate with sign language and speech interpreters to ensure inclusive and equal care. We are available to our patients all hours of the day, every day of the year, which means our services include day, evening, and night shifts as well as weekends and holidays. However, we work with individual schedule planning, offering good opportunities to plan your desired working hours and schedule yourself. If you prefer a rolling, fixed schedule, we offer that as well.

Your Responsibilities

You perform medical assessments and refer patients appropriately via telephone and chat. As support for your work, you use an evidence-based counseling tool. Your introduction includes training in the conversation process and working methods regarding our work tools.

For those with specialized competence or areas of interest, there are opportunities for different areas of responsibility and collaborative projects.

We are a county-wide operation and a modern workplace that offers you the possibility of working from home for part of your employment, as well as individual schedule planning to create good conditions for flexibility and balance between work and leisure. If you prefer to work your entire employment degree at the office, we have our pleasant offices in Eskilstuna and Nyköping, both located on hospital grounds.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience working in healthcare.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as clear communication, stability, being structured, and trustworthy. You learn easily, are stimulated by change, find it easy to work with digital tools, and thrive in a digital work environment.

You are proactive, solution-focused, and drawn to meeting the patient where they are. You are a good team player and enjoy teamwork, but also have the confidence in your competence to work independently.
