RESPONSIBILITIES

About the position

The Land and Development Unit within the Community Planning Administration is now looking for a new employee responsible for the municipality's electrical installations and future development in the area.

The unit currently consists of a manager and several specialist functions within areas such as infrastructure, development, project management, physical planning, surveying, GIS, and ecology. We work closely together in a business with a broad scope and a clear societal development mission.

The municipality is responsible for a large inventory of electrical installations and electrical systems connected to the public environment, societal infrastructure, and buildings. This includes, among other things, public lighting, electrical installations for events and public spaces, technical installations within facilities and infrastructure, as well as electrical-related issues within the municipality's property portfolio.

We are facing long-term development work where the goal is to create a more strategic, cost-effective, and sustainable management of the municipality's electrical installations. Therefore, we are now looking for an Electrical Responsible Person who wants to help build, structure, and develop the business forward.

The position is broad and varied, with both strategic and operational elements. Initially, a large part of the work will focus on inventory, documentation, structuring, and planning of the municipality's electrical installations and working methods. In the long term, the position will also play a central role in building a more self-performing organization within the electrical field.

You will work closely with both internal operations, contractors, and external actors and have the opportunity to influence the development in the area in the long term.

In the role of Electrical Responsible Person, you will among other things:

• Be responsible for the inventory, documentation, and structuring of the municipality's electrical installations
• Participate in the development of routines, working methods, and long-term planning within the electrical field
• Work strategically with efficiency, maintenance planning, and development of electrical installations
• Plan, coordinate, and in some parts execute electrical work within the municipality's operations and facilities
• Contribute to projects within the public environment, infrastructure, and building technical installations
• Handle material purchases, orders, and coordination with contractors
• Be a support in technical questions related to electrical safety and installations
• Contribute to the development of future organization and workforce management within the business area

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a strong technical interest, good structure, and a drive to develop businesses and working methods.

You have relevant education in the electrical field, for example as an electrician, power engineer, automation technician, university engineer, university college engineer, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

We would like you to have:

• Experience working with electrical installations and electrical systems
• Good understanding of electrical safety, legislation, and current standards
• Experience in planning, coordination, or project management within the electrical field
• Ability to work both strategically and operationally
• Good computer skills and preferably experience with documentation or technical systems
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• Authorization A or AL
• Experience from public operations or work with public lighting/infrastructure
• Experience in workforce management or business development
