We at Vår Omtanke are currently looking for a man who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client at their summer cottage in Norrtälje. In this role, you will make a difference in a person's life and work alongside us according to our vision – Everyone deserves a good life.

About the position

You will work as a personal assistant for a 29-year-old man with a neuromuscular disease. He will be staying for 3 weeks with his father and his partner at their summer cottage this summer (where there are two dogs), so it is important to be able to take the other family members into account. The client needs help with practical everyday tasks, everything from assistance with transfers, toilet visits, and preparing meals to simple household chores such as washing dishes, cleaning, mowing the lawn, and similar tasks a 29-year-old would do at home, as well as support during activities. He enjoys photography and computers, which take up much of his waking time. He has slightly impaired hearing and may therefore find it a bit difficult to be social, which means that as an assistant, you need to be proactive in conversation while also being empathetic and giving him plenty of personal space.

Who are you?

• Male
• Fluent in Swedish
• Hold a driver's license and have access to a car to commute to the client
• Capable of taking initiative
• Experienced with household chores
• Ability to wait patiently for the client
• Organized and punctual

Experience working as a personal assistant in a family setting is a plus. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Working hours and degree of employment:

Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM and on weekends from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM during weeks 27, 28, and 31. Introduction will take place for one day in Järfälla during week 24. For the right person, this is a recurring summer job, and there may also be an opportunity to work for the rest of the year in Järfälla.

Salary: Fixed hourly rate according to agreement, other compensations are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately.
