We are expanding our outpatient team within adult psychiatry in Helsingborg and are now looking for an engaged specialist nurse who wants to help develop the future of psychiatric care together with us at Capio.

About Us

Since November 1, 2025, we have had a care agreement with Region Skåne. We are now making a strategic push to expand our operations to meet the increased need for specialized psychiatric outpatient care in the region. Therefore, we are currently seeking a registered nurse with specialist training in adult psychiatry to join our growing team at Capio Adult Psychiatry Helsingborg.

We offer specialized psychiatric outpatient care for individuals over 18 years of age with diagnoses such as eating disorders, psychoses, anxiety syndromes, affective disorders, personality disorders, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, as well as harmful use and addiction (excluding LARO). We also offer rTMS treatment.

At our clinic, you will work alongside an engaged and interdisciplinary team consisting of specialist doctors, ST/resident doctors, specialist nurses, psychologists, CBT therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Our culture is characterized by collaboration, engagement, and development. We work according to evidence-based methods, grounded in person-centered and behavioral psychology principles. Continuous competence development and supervision are standard. Our patients arrive via referral, partner care within psychiatry, or self-referral.

Our clinic is centrally located in Helsingborg with excellent commuting options – just a five-minute walk from the train station.

Your Role

As a specialist nurse, you will work independently with the assessment, nursing, and treatment of patients within specialized psychiatric outpatient care. You play a key role in the patient's care process and work closely with other professions in the team to create a safe and high-quality care environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Independent assessments and treatments
  • Health-promoting and supportive conversations
  • Examinations and sample collection
  • Documentation according to current guidelines
  • Participation in and development of group activities
  • Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
  • Involvement in quality, improvement, and development work
  • Supervision of students or new colleagues as needed

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist training in psychiatric care.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are confident in your professional role and have the ability to work independently while appreciating collaboration and knowledge exchange with colleagues. You are stable, team-oriented, and have a professional and empathetic approach when meeting patients and colleagues.

We would like you to have:

  • Experience working within psychiatric specialist care
  • Experience working independently with assessment and treatment
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good IT skills and experience with medical record systems

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Group activities or group therapy
  • Development or change work
  • rTMS treatment
  • Supervision or pedagogical work
  • Digital working methods within psychiatry

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Terms of Employment

Permanent position, full-time, daytime hours, Monday - Friday. Start date by agreement. Probation period of 6 months.
