About the Role

As an Events Marketing Specialist, you will be a key player in planning, coordinating, and executing a program of sponsored and proprietary events across the Nordics. You will be responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns before and after events, ensuring that every initiative reflects the brand and delivers measurable results for brand awareness and lead generation. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

We are looking for someone who is creative, strategic, and highly self-motivated. You have "street smarts," are comfortable handling senior stakeholders, and dare to stand up for your ideas. At the same time, you are completely unpretentious; you understand the strategy but are happy to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on when needed.

What We Offer

• Our client offers an exciting 12-month consulting assignment as an Events Marketing Specialist, starting in August 2026. You will become part of a dynamic marketing team within European Markets Services and work at the heart of the financial market. The role offers a hybrid work model after the initial period of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute sponsored and proprietary events in the Nordics (webinars, seminars, conferences, trade shows, client events).
• Build and drive integrated marketing campaigns for events via email, social media, web, and digital advertising.
• Own project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables for events, ensuring high-quality execution.
• Track, analyze, and report KPIs and ROI for events using analytics and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with sales, product, content, and communication teams to shape event positioning and messaging.
• Manage relationships with external partners (organizers, sponsors, speakers, venues, and media).
• Ensure all event activities adhere to brand guidelines, policies, and approval processes.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Marketing, Economics, or Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event marketing within larger organizations, preferably in the finance or technology sector.
• Proven ability to plan, execute, and market events with achieved KPIs.
• Advanced skills in project management, organization, and multitasking to handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and event management platforms.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience planning, executing, and working with in-house events.
• Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, and Bizzabo.
• Basic understanding of financial terminology.
