About the role – Electrical Designer with responsibility to build a team

As a senior electrical designer, you will initially work operationally but gradually take on greater responsibility for:

• Building and leading the design department
• Establishing structure, processes, and ways of working
• Influencing tools, methods, and organization

You will work closely with projects, customers, and installation teams – and become central to the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Design and electrical engineering within power systems, energy storage, and DC charging
• Create electrical drawings, system diagrams, and single-line diagrams
• Sizing of installations (e.g., via Elvis, Febdok, Netkoll)
• Create complete drawing and design documentation
• Prepare technical documentation for quotations and calculations
• Contact with customers and suppliers
• Support during installation and commissioning
• Participate in or lead project management
• Prepare relationship documents
• Help establish structure and processes in the operations

Travel with overnight stays may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrical designer within power systems
• Relevant education in power systems, electrical engineering, or electrical design
• Experience with CAD (AutoCAD or similar)
• Knowledge of sizing tools (Elvis, Febdok, Netkoll, etc.)
• Experience in drawing single-line diagrams
• Good understanding of power systems and standards
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with switchgear design
• Knowledge of Bidcon, Bluebeam, or advanced Excel
• Experience with control cabinets and relay protection
• Relay protection programming or testing
• Experience in commissioning power systems
• Civil or university engineer in power systems
