Job Responsibilities

Your main workplace is Furubacken in Fränsta, where you will also have your office. The position involves working within the municipality's special housing, short-term care, and dementia services. As an occupational therapist, you will conduct activity assessments and perform therapeutic measures to facilitate patients' daily lives. This requires flexibility and resourcefulness.

You will also prescribe assistive devices, mentor staff, and work with certificate writing for housing adaptation grants. Collaboration with physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, managers, and assistant nurses is close and central. Therefore, we value experience in working in multidisciplinary teams as well as strong pedagogical skills, as a large part of the job consists of mentoring and instruction.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have the ability to see the whole picture regarding an individual's needs and to collaborate effectively with other professional groups. Previous work experience as an occupational therapist is advantageous, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. A driver's license and good computer skills are required. Personal suitability is of great importance in the recruitment process.
