Vimmerby is the small municipality in Småland that has much to offer; in addition to the rich cultural heritage from Astrid Lindgren, the municipality is also characterized by a diverse business life, strong local commitment, active club life, beautiful nature, and a peaceful environment.

We are looking for several substitute staff members for the short-term care unit Vimarhaga F during the period 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-31.

Vimarhaga F is a unit that has a total of 18 places distributed between short-term care spots and security spots. For those who have a short-term spot, we work with rehabilitative measures so that the person can return home. On the security spots, the person checks in as they would otherwise receive help from relatives at home. Some places are intended for people with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will have a central role in the users' lives, and your tasks will vary depending on each individual's needs.

Examples of what you can expect to work with:

  • Personal care - help with personal hygiene as well as dressing and undressing.
  • Supervision and assistance when needed - be a support in handling different situations, for example during transfers.
  • Documentation - carefully document the support and care you provide, in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans in our system Lifecare.
  • Security alarms - quickly respond to urgent needs from users who have called for help.
  • Rehabilitative measures - so that the person can return home.
  • Healthcare - perform healthcare tasks after delegation by the responsible nurse.
  • Palliative care may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Have education within the Nursing Programme or equivalent education (meritorious).
  • Have experience from the area of operation (meritorious).

In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, you have a service-oriented approach and a positive attitude with good and respectful treatment. It is important that you can work independently, while also having good teamwork skills. The position requires documentation, so you must be computer literate and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

Working hours vary between day/evening/weekend. During the substitute period, we unfortunately do not have the opportunity to grant longer leaves.
