About the job

As a Business Architect, you play a central role in capturing the organization's needs and translating them into sustainable architectural solutions. You ensure that business capabilities, processes, information, and IT solutions collaborate and support the authority's goals, vision, and strategies.

Architecture work is an important and prioritized area where you have the opportunity to influence and contribute to development. You help create the conditions for the digital transformation that the Population and Property Department is undergoing, becoming a significant part of the Swedish Tax Agency's development work.

The role suits you if you have a genuine interest in environmental scanning and societal issues. By understanding the business context, you can translate insights into concrete solutions that make a real difference.

You collaborate with others and have a guiding role early in various development initiatives, and you provide support in different phases during the development process. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge and understanding of the modern IT landscape, which is part of the future business operations. Among other things, you will lead workshops for modeling and visualize business within the Population and Property area, for example, through various models used within the Swedish Tax Agency.

You belong to the Development Unit in the Population and Property Department. You are part of our cross-functional (V, I, T, A) architecture team led by our EA-Lead. The team currently consists of five people and supports both the department's area of responsibility and works together with architects from other departments for the Swedish Tax Agency's holistic architecture. It is also common for team members to participate in authority-crossing collaborations both within Sweden and the EU. The position includes supporting surrounding roles with a coaching approach.

Your place of work can be Sundbyberg, Östersund, or Umeå.

About you

You must also have:

• relevant post-secondary education, or alternatively several years of relevant work experience in qualified work
• several years of current and relevant work experience in business architecture at both operational and strategic levels
• several years of current and relevant work experience in development activities.

It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in IT architecture and/or information architecture. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant experience of working in a large, complex organization. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience in agile ways of working and that you are certified in business architecture. Current and relevant experience of documenting architecture in EA tools and relevant experience of leading workshops for modeling business architecture is also desirable.

The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be carried out before a decision on employment. For some of our security-class tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
