We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Luleå. You will play a key role in developing both our deliveries and our automation offerings. Here, you will work closely with customers, technology, and colleagues in a role with significant influence. In the role of Automation Engineer, you will work with the development, programming, and commissioning of automation solutions within the industry. You will become an important part of a team with high technical competence, where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and freedom under responsibility are in focus.

You will work broadly throughout the entire project chain, from idea and design to commissioning and customer support. The role also involves many interfaces where you collaborate closely with customers, colleagues, and other disciplines in the projects.

A work week might, for example, include:

• PLC programming and SCADA programming
• Commissioning, troubleshooting, and checkout at the customer site
• Customer meetings, project reviews, and technical support
• Mentoring and guidance

To thrive and succeed in the role, you have:

• Relevant technical education in automation or equivalent work experience
• At least 6 years of experience in industrial automation
• Broad knowledge of various automation systems and manufacturers
• Experience working in industrial environments, including commissioning and troubleshooting
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:

• Experience in electrical design
• Experience with ABB 800xA or Siemens systems
• Previous experience as an industrial electrician, commissioning engineer, or similar
• Experience in leadership roles such as technical manager, design manager, or project manager
