At CTC, we combine high ambitions with an important social mission within Life Science. We are now looking for an HR Specialist who wants to help shape our continued development.

CTC is an established company within clinical research with approximately 125 employees and operations in several Swedish cities as well as internationally. Since our founding 15 years ago, we have grown from a startup to an organization with strong and broad competence in clinical trials, from clinic to data analysis and project management. We are in an exciting phase of development with an increased international focus, where a modern and business-oriented HR function is central to the work of developing the organization, culture, and ways of working for the future.

Here, you will meet a grounded, knowledgeable, and engaged organization with a mix of academic excellence and a flat hierarchy.

About the role

We are now looking for an independent and experienced HR Specialist who wants to take a central role in our ongoing HR work. You will become an important part of strengthening and developing the HR structure as the company grows and changes, with a focus on creating a good work environment, promoting sustainable and engaged employment, and contributing to secure and well-equipped managers.

You report to the HR Manager and work operationally to drive and develop HR work in the organization. You also work with some personnel administration together with our payroll administrator. The role also includes work on developing internal communication as well as initiatives and activities that strengthen our culture and employer brand. This is done in close collaboration with other functions and professions, such as the marketing coordinator.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to managers regarding labor law, work environment, and personnel matters.
  • Collaborate continuously with local union representatives and safety delegates.
  • Work with personnel administration together with our payroll administrator and ensure efficient and high-quality HR routines.
  • Drive and coordinate processes within pay formation, such as salary mapping.
  • Be responsible for and develop recruitment and employer branding work.
  • Contribute to internal communication and activities that strengthen culture and employer brand.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an experienced HR Specialist who thrives on taking responsibility and driving issues forward. You feel confident in prioritizing independently and handling both planned and more unexpected HR issues in a changing business.

You have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in broad operational HR work.
  • Good knowledge of labor law and experience guiding managers in complex work environment and rehabilitation issues.
  • An academic education in HR/personnel, behavioral science, or equivalent experience.
  • Good skills in Swedish and English.

Merits:

  • Experience from small or medium-sized companies.
  • Experience with collective agreements and union collaboration.
  • Experience from regulated activities, e.g., Life Science.

Personal qualities

As a person, you are flexible, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to create trust within the organization. You are equally comfortable in dialogue with managers as in operational work, and you thrive in a business where tasks alternate between strategic issues and practical details, and where you do not always have a ready-made answer.

What we offer

Here, you get a broad and varied HR role with significant personal responsibility, where you are given good opportunities to influence and develop HR work in a growing organization. You become part of a business that contributes to the development of new medicines and treatments, which makes the work both meaningful and exciting. We have a strong sense of community and an open climate at CTC. Together, we help each other and share knowledge and experiences.

As an employee, you are covered by a collective agreement, and we encourage work-life balance by offering, among other things, the opportunity for hybrid work, wellness benefits, and generous vacation conditions. You will work in pleasant premises in Uppsala Science Park, right in the middle of a dynamic Life Science area, creating an inspiring work environment in everyday life.

Application

In this recruitment, CTC collaborates with SJR. For more information, you are welcome to contact the responsible recruitment consultant Charlotta Ezitis Holmström at 076-647 16 57 or Christine Stamfeldt at 070-471 59 16. We look forward to receiving your application!
