The Support and Security Unit is responsible for internal support such as reception, ordering, property issues, IT, and telephony. The unit is also responsible for supporting and coordinating the activities of the County Governor and their representation duties. The unit has overall responsibility for the agency's security work and systematic fire safety work.

Approximately ten employees are employed within the unit, some of whom are hired on an as-needed basis.

Job Responsibilities

The County Administrative Board is now seeking two on-call employees with a focus on catering service, as well as a cook and server. The role of catering staff includes tasks such as serving, setting up furniture, table setting, dishwashing, and more. In the combined role of serving/cooking, the work involves being a cook with a focus on cooking. Physically demanding work may occur.

Qualifications

As a person, you have high integrity and are service-oriented. We see that you are self-motivated, adaptable, and meticulous, with both teamwork skills and initiative. We appreciate that you are flexible and available for work with short notice. You have a sense of aesthetics and can adapt table settings and decorations to the occasion.

General requirements:

Experience in catering service
Experience working in a large kitchen
Experience in meeting people and providing good service

Requirements for the combined role of cook and server:

Training in food handling and kitchen hygiene, with a good understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
Experience in cooking in large kitchens, restaurants, or similar operations

Merits:

Knowledge and experience in table setting, table decorations, and floral arrangements
Experience in planning dinners and meals
Experience in planning and executing both small and large events
Experience working in environments where understanding etiquette rules is important
