About the role

The PRI Group provides credit insurance and works with administering and guaranteeing pensions in-house. PRI offers services ranging from credit insurance, pension administration, actuarial services, foundation administration, consulting services, to information and education. In the varied role of Systems Specialist, your primary focus will be on Windows Server and Windows SQL. As part of PRI's IT team, you will be involved in managing and optimizing the company's infrastructure, including the deployment, maintenance, and support of their in-house developed systems on Windows servers and SQL databases. Your role will also involve general IT tasks and collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations and management.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications on Windows Server and Windows SQL.
  • Monitor system performance and handle incidents and issues.
  • Perform regular security checks and implement security measures.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving for network and system-related issues.
  • Collaborate with others within the team to implement and support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Provide user support and technical guidance as needed.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has relevant education in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Has 1–2 years of experience working in 1st line support or with an operations provider and wants to take the next step in their career.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the Windows Server operating system and its administration.
  • Has experience working with Windows SQL databases, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Has a good understanding of network concepts and protocols.
  • Has experience as a database administrator.
  • Experience with cloud services, virtualization technology, and PowerShell is a plus.
  • Can communicate fluently in Swedish, as this is crucial for the team communication to function as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.
