We are now looking for an experienced OpenStack developer for a role where you will have a central part in the development and management of modern infrastructure services. You will become part of a DevSecOps team working on the principle of “You build it – You run it”, which means overall responsibility for both development, operations, and further development of the services.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence both working methods and technical solutions in an environment where innovation, security, and automation are in focus. The team works agilely with roadmaps, backlogs, and continuous prioritization in Jira. This assignment is suitable for you who are driven by working with modern infrastructure and cutting-edge technology development, while also valuing collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

As an OpenStack developer, you will work with the development, automation, and management of infrastructure services in a DevSecOps environment. You will contribute to the development of modern platform services and be involved in shaping how the organization's infrastructure services are consumed and further developed.

The work includes, among other things, automation and management of container platforms, CI/CD flows, and Infrastructure as Code solutions. You will work agilely together with the team where backlog management, task prioritization, and continuous improvement are a natural part of everyday life. The role also involves close collaboration with other developers and stakeholders, where communication and teamwork skills are important parts of succeeding in the assignment.

Qualifications

Requirements

• At least 9–12 years of experience in the relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience working with OpenStack
• Experience working agilely with tasks and backlog prioritization
• Experience with SCRUM and agile development methodology
• Experience with CI/CD methodology
• Experience with container infrastructure such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with scripting/programming in Bash, Python, or Go
• Experience with version control in Git
• Experience with automation and IaC using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Flux CD
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Ability to work structured, independently, and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public cloud services
• Experience with service development within IaaS and/or PaaS
