Job Description

We are looking for an engaged Teacher in Leisure-Time Centre (Fritidshem) for Gäverängeskolan in Ockelbo Municipality. Together with your work team, we aim to create the best conditions and a safe school day for all students. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching in connection with the curriculum and its central content, in collaboration with your colleagues. As a teacher, you also collaborate closely with the Student Health Service.

Main responsibilities include, among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and activities related to the Leisure-Time Centre curriculum.
• Develop work within the Leisure-Time Centre and the school.
• Create and develop a good learning environment based on the curriculum and regulatory documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified Teacher in Leisure-Time Centre, preferably combined with qualifications to teach Physical Education and Health, Craft, or equivalent for Grades F-3. Previous experience working in a Leisure-Time Centre is considered an advantage.

You have a solid understanding of school regulatory documents and can use your knowledge effectively in your daily work. To succeed in the role, you have a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are an engaged educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your teaching to your students' different prerequisites and needs.

An extract from the criminal record is required upon employment.

The position is permanent, but a probationary period may apply. The position is 50% full-time, but may increase to 80% in combination with other sought-after qualifications.
