About the job
As an assembler at Tawi, you will work on assembling components and products according to drawings, instructions, and current quality requirements. The role involves careful and responsible work where you follow daily planning and production orders, as well as documenting your work in relevant systems.
You will become an important part of the production team and are expected to contribute to both the daily production flow and the department's continuous improvement efforts.
Examples of typical tasks:
- Perform precision assembly of components and products according to drawings, instructions, and standards
- Follow daily planning and production orders, and register completed work in the system
- Carry out simple adjustments and functional checks of assembled products
- Ensure that the correct materials are used and that assembly meets quality requirements and specifications
- Report deviations, errors, and quality defects to the Team Leader, and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to order and cleanliness at the workplace according to 5S, and follow safety and working environment routines
- Actively participate in improvement work, for example by suggesting efficiency improvements and quality enhancements
- Contribute to the production team meeting its daily goals regarding volume, quality, and delivery precision
- Develop your own skills to increase flexibility within the team and support the competency matrix
- Collaborate with other departments with a focus on common goals and good communication
Who we are looking for
To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and work in a structured manner in your daily tasks. You have the ability to work independently within given frameworks and take responsibility for your assignments. At the same time, you are a team player with good collaboration skills and a desire to contribute to a positive and professional work climate.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in assembly work, preferably from manufacturing industry and precision assembly of technical products
- Practical experience working with drawings, work instructions, and standardized methods
- A good understanding of quality requirements and careful documentation in production
- Basic computer skills, for example for registration in production or ERP systems
- Driver's license and access to a car
- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
Merits:
- Knowledge of English
- Experience with electrical installation or work with electrical components
- Valid forklift license
