An established company within the nuclear power and energy sector is now looking for electrical designers who want to work on technically advanced and long-term projects. With a focus on sustainability and advanced technology, we offer the opportunity to work at the forefront of the industry. The operations take place in a safety-critical environment where quality, traceability, and precision are central parts of the working approach.
The assignments are carried out primarily at the client's site and involve major projects within operation, maintenance, modernization, and development of facilities. The projects are often long-term and are carried out in close collaboration with other technical disciplines.
About the RoleIn the role of electrical designer, you will work with classic electrical power design covering the entire process from preliminary studies and investigations to new design, conversions, and extensions. Your tasks include extensive documentation and detailed design within electrical and instrumentation, creating assembly documentation, technical descriptions, investigations, and design.
All changes and component selections are made in Elmaster to ensure quality and standardization. The workplace is characterized by a conservative approach to technology choices, where older, analog systems are still used and maintained. Although there is an ongoing digitalization process for documentation, many changes are still made with pen and paper, and there is often a need to retrieve physical documents from archives.
You will be part of a larger maintenance organization, where independent reviews of all material are an important part of the routines. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with your colleagues to achieve success in the projects.
Your CompetenceWe are looking for you who have:
- Experience of electrical design in an industrial environment
- Experience that is not solely within distribution or substations
- Experience with CAD, preferably Elmaster or a similar tool
- Accustomed to structured work in documentation and quality systems
- Good understanding of quality assurance and rule-driven environments
- Good knowledge of Swedish
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Formal education is an advantage.
Other InformationSalary: Fixed monthly salary
Scope: Full-time, permanent
Start: Immediately, taking into account any notice period
Location: Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås, Gävle
As the role is security-classified, Swedish citizenship is a requirement and you will undergo a security clearance. We process applications on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application period ends, so send your application today!
