You will become part of a professional procurement team and work with operational and tactical procurement activities within IT categories such as hardware, software, and IT services.

About the Role

For our client, we are currently seeking an operational purchaser within IS/IT for a fixed-term assignment. The role involves operational and tactical procurement work within IT categories such as hardware, software, and IT services.

You will collaborate closely with strategic buyers, internal requesters, and suppliers, focusing on efficient procurement processes and commercial solutions.

Period: 2026-08-01 – 2027-01-31
Location: Linköping or Solna

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at the time. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive selected sourcing projects and procurement activities
• Support strategic buyers in tactical procurement matters
• Handle purchase requisitions in the company's procurement system
• Work with procurement in: IT hardware, Software, IT services, and Other IT-related categories.
• Ensure correct supplier setup and catalog management.
• Update system information regarding products, prices, and delivery terms.
• Generate reports and perform simple data analyses.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization.

We would like you to have:

• Upper secondary education or vocational higher education in procurement/procurement, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in procurement or sourcing.
• Meritorious experience in: IT procurement, Software, Hardware, and IT services.
• Good understanding and interest in IT.
• Interest in digitalization and continuous improvement.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
