We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine with a category B driver's license and Swedish language skills at least at C1 level. Knowledge of the Sami language and Sami cultural competence are meritorious, as are skills in the Cosmic medical record system.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are flexible, structured, quality-conscious, and have good judgment.

What you will work with

A health center in a rural area means you will work with a broad spectrum of patients. We have several special housing facilities, and you will be responsible for one of them. Additionally, we have a general medicine department at the health center, which makes the work here varied, broad, and developmental. The health center also has a resource center for Sami health, with a main focus on mental health.

If you, like several of us who work at the Jokkmokk health center, are interested in outdoor activities, then the proximity to the mountains, ski slopes, hiking trails, and rivers is a big plus. The cultural offerings in the municipality are good for a relatively small town. Cinema, concerts, food options, and many leisure activities for children and adults are all within walking distance in cozy Jokkmokk. Information about the position

Permanent position, full-time, daytime hours. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
