As a traveling consultant based in Västerås, you will be employed by Effektiv and work at our clients' sites within a radius of 120 km (7.5 miles). You are an important representative and ambassador for us, contributing to delivering our assignments with high quality every day.

In the role of traveling consultant, you will primarily work as a machine operator for an established company in the manufacturing industry. The work takes place in a modern production environment where painting, coloring, and handling of solvents are a natural part of the operations. Therefore, it is important that you are not allergic or sensitive to solvents and chemical odors.

The tasks vary depending on the assignment, but the focus is on machine operation and forklift driving. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and handling of production machines
• Material replenishment and quality control
• Forklift driving and internal material handling
• Inbound and outbound deliveries
• Picking and packing
• Other common tasks within production and warehousing

Forklift driving is an important part of the daily work and occurs continuously throughout the workday. The working hours are in two shifts, meaning you need to be flexible and able to work different times. You will work within a traveling area of up to 120 km (7.5 miles) from Västerås, so a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.

This assignment addresses a long-term need where the client company's ambition is to take over the employment after the consulting assignment for the right person. Thus, there are good opportunities for a long-term employment with the client.

We are looking for you who are driven, flexible, and enjoy practical work. You are a team player who takes responsibility, has a good work ethic, and is not afraid to jump in where needed.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Hold forklift certificates A1-4 and B1-4
• Have experience with forklift driving
• Forklift certification D1 is an advantage
• Can work both day shifts and two-shift systems
• Are willing to work within a radius of 120 km (7.5 miles)
• Have experience in production, machine operation, forklift driving, or similar work
• Are not allergic or sensitive to solvents, paint, or painting environments

As a person, you are reliable, positive, and easy to collaborate with. You adapt quickly to new workplaces and tasks and contribute energy and engagement to the team.
