About the Role

Your role as our LVD Specialist

Are you passionate about electrical safety and technical standards? Do you want to be the crucial link ensuring that our innovative heat pumps are safe and ready for the European market? Bosch Thermotechnology in Tranås is now looking for a meticulous and driven LVD certification specialist!

As our new certification engineer, you will become our internal expert and key person for everything related to electrical safety according to the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). You will work in a responsible role where your technical knowledge and ability to interpret standards directly impact our success.

You will be the one guaranteeing that our products pass the certification process. Your main task is to ensure that every heat pump we develop meets all relevant requirements for CE marking.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Specifying requirements and reviewing certificates and test reports from our sub-suppliers to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Conducting technical discussions with suppliers and test institutes to ensure alignment on requirements and test methods.
• Planning and performing LVD tests and other electrical safety tests in our own lab, often in close collaboration with external test institutes.
• Performing practical tests according to specific clauses in the product standard EN 60335-2-40, for example clauses 10, 11, 13, 19.
• Managing our CTF agreement (Customer's Test Facility), which includes handling annual audits (calibration checks) and ensuring that all relevant test equipment is calibrated and meets requirements.
• Acting as the company's expert and proactively working to ensure our products are approved during the final certification.

Requirements

What makes you stand out

To succeed in this role, you are a structured and analytical person who enjoys diving deep into technical standards and reports. You are communicative and comfortable setting requirements, both internally and externally.

We believe you have:

• A relevant technical education in fields such as electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Experience in practical work with LVD and CE marking.
• Very good knowledge of electrical safety standards, especially the EN 60335 series.
• Experience in reading, interpreting, and applying technical standards and requirement documents.
• Experience in performing and documenting electrical tests.
• Good command of English, as you will review international reports and communicate with global partners.

Qualifications that are a plus

It is a great advantage if you also have experience with:

• Flammable refrigerants and the specific requirements in relevant standards.
• Working under a CTF agreement or similar.
