About the Unit

In Sundsvall, there is the Stroke/Neurology Ward 26 B, which is part of the Primary Healthcare Area South. We have 12 care beds but are now expanding with three additional beds as we will from this autumn also receive patients from Sollefteå with a focus on stroke/neurology. At our unit, we work in teams based on a rehabilitative approach. The goal is for patients, as far as possible, to regain their functional ability in daily activities. We work with "Hjärnvägen" (The Brain Pathway) to provide acute stroke patients with the fastest possible care. The work on the ward is a combination of acute care and routine ward work, so if you are a person who enjoys variety, this is a ward that offers exactly that. As we now expand our operations, we are looking for 5 nurses to join us!

As a nurse with us, you work in a team together with doctors, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. At the start, we set up an individual introduction in consultation with you, and everyone working on the ward receives stroke compensation training through the department. We strive for a work environment with a high level of trust where you, as a nurse, are recognized for your competence. Together we can achieve most things, and as a work group, we care for the patients and each other. On the ward, we offer the opportunity to work 85 percent with 100 percent salary for a period.

The positions are permanent full-time employment with day and evening shifts or night shifts. Start date is by agreement.

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
