In the role of nurse at the dialysis unit, you work with home dialysis with a focus on utilizing the patient's self-care ability. You become the contact nurse for a few patients and work with patient conversations, team rounds, contact with relatives, and other healthcare staff.

The dialysis clinic is an outpatient clinic with 10 places. We are open Monday-Saturday. We belong to the specialized care of the medical clinic and primarily receive patients from the northern part of the county, but we have a close collaboration with other dialysis units in the region. We are a clinic where blood dialysis is performed for patients with reduced or ceased kidney function. The treatment is usually performed three times/week and takes about four hours. We work to utilize the patient's self-care ability and participation to live as good a life as possible with chronic illness.

As a nurse with us, your main task will be to perform dialysis treatments. The work also includes basic and specific nursing care for the patient.

Currently, each nurse is responsible for 2-3 patients. At our clinic, it is important to develop care to make care for kidney patients even better. The introduction covers 8 weeks with a clear training plan and fixed supervisors so that you become confident in your new role as a dialysis nurse. Even after your introduction, there is always proximity to experienced colleagues.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. As a person, you are flexible and positive and interested in technology and person-centered work. In addition, we would like you to have an interest in working with development and can contribute in a good way to our development work. You can work both independently and in a group and have a good attitude towards both our patients and employees. We are looking for someone who can complement our work team, and the focus will be on personal suitability.
