The Management Office of Uppsala County Council is part of Uppsala County Council, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. The Management Office is led by the County Director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. Our Operations

Uppsala County Council is one of Uppsala's largest employers, with Uppsala University Hospital being the largest administration. The hospital is one of Sweden's leading university hospitals and offers specialized and highly specialized care locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

We are now looking for a Controller for Uppsala University Hospital within the ALF framework (Agreement on Medical Education and Research between the State and the Regions). At Uppsala University Hospital, you will be close to specialist knowledge, research, education, and dedicated colleagues. We work to provide good conditions for conducting high-quality research through regular follow-up of research funds, which also involves close collaboration with Uppsala University. We continuously work on improvement and development, striving to be a health-promoting workplace with good leadership and flexible working methods.

Your Role

We offer an exciting and stimulating job at one of Uppsala's largest workplaces, where you will be part of a team of 4 people within the ALF group. The group has the main responsibility for budgeting and monitoring the research funds and funds for medical education allocated annually to Uppsala University Hospital and Uppsala University. We work at a fast pace with significant autonomy under the leadership of the group coordinator.

Communication is a key part of your work. In your role, you will participate in various forums and meet different professional groups, such as doctors/researchers, various research and education councils within operational areas, operational controllers, and have contact with Uppsala University. Running through all your tasks is the active work to develop well-functioning working methods, routines, and flows between relevant stakeholders, both within and outside the hospital.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Economics
• Experience as a Controller or similar; experience in project reporting is an advantage
• Very good Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Heroma or Agresso is an advantage
