We are looking for a Service Technician with electrical knowledge for Comsys in Lund!
About the company

We are now looking for a service technician for Comsys. Comsys is a Swedish cleantech company based in Lund that develops advanced solutions within energy efficiency and power quality to help industry and the power sector stabilize and optimize their energy usage.
The role is primarily based in Lund but also involves regular travel (approx. 2–3 times per month) to customers globally for installation, troubleshooting, and support.
Your responsibilities
In the role, you will among other things:
- Handle incoming support cases and service tickets.
- Assist customers during system startup and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and service products both remotely and on-site at the customer.
- Write technical documentation as well as service and support cases in English.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct technical training for customers.
- Develop routines and working methods to improve the customer experience within customer support.
- Support the sales organization with technical questions.
- Work continuously in ticket systems (Freshdesk) and other support systems.
- Coordinate technical feedback and improvement proposals to the Head of Service.
- Participate in customer service work and close customer dialogues.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the service and support function.
Your background / Your qualities
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a strong technical interest, enjoy regular international travel as part of your job, and are driven by working in a customer-oriented environment. We also believe you have:
- Education in electrical engineering, power systems, or a similar technical field.
- Good understanding of electrical theory and working with high-voltage equipment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and technical support.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Good computer skills and experience with ticket systems.
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, as the corporate language is English.
- Opportunity and willingness to travel internationally regularly in the role.
It is an advantage if you have experience within power quality, power systems, or energy efficiency.

Since customers are in different time zones, it may mean that you sometimes need to work evenings and early mornings to help customers; otherwise, work is performed during daytime.
